So tomorrow I will have two projects for you. And don't forget there are prizes involved. Make sure you are commenting so that you have a shot at a prize as winners will be chosen from the comments left this week!</p><p>So without further ado, here is today's creation...</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgBuiziOuSfCRNQUHr41EmJ3Hf5p9qAaQlOtJONKKoMC_7n4yt1fwVTp3_8Khs1s2HFH74ikLmHq_ei4Pi-tCnnJtvSXpzdR2mmFL-ZLEvUO4Ak94p7WbhA-BnXLk79llBpTvHvTyMVEZjFhL95Ua5X7wOFLKN0lYLAY3w6s5wtBsdyw2aciO-U67p9=s2870" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2870" data-original-width="2262" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgBuiziOuSfCRNQUHr41EmJ3Hf5p9qAaQlOtJONKKoMC_7n4yt1fwVTp3_8Khs1s2HFH74ikLmHq_ei4Pi-tCnnJtvSXpzdR2mmFL-ZLEvUO4Ak94p7WbhA-BnXLk79llBpTvHvTyMVEZjFhL95Ua5X7wOFLKN0lYLAY3w6s5wtBsdyw2aciO-U67p9=s320" width="252" /></a></div><br />This fabulous last minute card comes together so asily and is made using Cheery Christmas. I get to be the GIU Girl this week! (GIU is Growing In Unity), and this is really a fun thing for me! And a little bit of trivia for you all, I actually started as a GIU Girl when I first decided to try out for a design team. From there my journey started! </p><p>I will be back each day this week with new projects for you, AND there are prizes involved. More on that as we get through the week, but make sure you are commenting so that you have a shot at a prize as winners will be chosen from the comments left this week!</p><p>So without further ado, here is a favorite stamp that I truly adore for Christmas cards. Have a look!</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-RU6wdmEE0HI/YcEQIDY6HpI/AAAAAAAAWNQ/lTP3sT0vtH48ba0Uh5JxmmUYPsd8uorDQCNcBGAsYHQ/20211220_155928.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="2756" data-original-width="2122" height="240" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-RU6wdmEE0HI/YcEQIDY6HpI/AAAAAAAAWNQ/lTP3sT0vtH48ba0Uh5JxmmUYPsd8uorDQCNcBGAsYHQ/20211220_155928.jpg" width="185" /></a></div><br />This is called <a href="https://www.unitystampco.com/search.php?search_query=owl">Owl Warmhearted</a> and is jyst such a sweet image and comes with two wonderful sentiments. Oh and a little enabler alert, it is on sale right now! I have colored up this fun image by Angie Blom with Copic markers and used some patterned papers from an older paper pad from The Stamps Of Life called Hope and Joy Collection. <p></p><p>What do you think of this sweet image and super easy and quick last minute Christmas card?</p><p>Let me know and leave me a comment! Today I am bringing you a fairly quick and easy holiday card. For this project I am using <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/products/canvas-textured-green-cardstock">Bonsai Cardstock</a> and <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/canvas-red-discount-cardstock#">Habanero Cardstock</a> along with <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/curious-metallic-white-silver-cardstock#">Curious Metallic Cardstock in White Silver</a> as well as <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/white-card-stock/products/classic-crest-solar-white-card-stock?variant=668597045">Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock 110 lb</a>.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gzWEFl4abCU/YZRpPwW9hJI/AAAAAAAAWKI/xkw6VelpLyAVieSScVHYt3GRyfb-q-2pQCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/1116a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1642" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gzWEFl4abCU/YZRpPwW9hJI/AAAAAAAAWKI/xkw6VelpLyAVieSScVHYt3GRyfb-q-2pQCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/1116a.jpg" width="257" /></a> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I am using <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/white-card-stock/products/classic-crest-solar-white-card-stock?variant=668597045">Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock 110 lb</a> for my card base, which I am cutting to 5 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches and then scoring at 4 1/4 inches to create my card base. Next I am cutting my <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/products/canvas-textured-green-cardstock">Bonsai Cardstock</a> to 41/8 inches by 5 3/8 inches. Next, I am cutting my <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/canvas-red-discount-cardstock#">Habanero Cardstock</a> down to 4 inches by 5 1/4 inches. I am then adhering these layers sing <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/paper-adhesives/products/score-tape-premium-double-sided-adhesive-27-yds">ScorTape</a>.</div><p></p><p>I then cut down a panel that was designed as a slimline card panel. It is part of a panel set from Whimsy Stamps and is called SurReally Cool Christmas. I cut this panel down to 4 3/4 inches by 3 5/8 inches. Now when I put that together I felt it still needed a little something. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dbjAXCzkpuA/YZRpYdu7h8I/AAAAAAAAWKM/5Fo1qNvWtQcjKWZ37qyFBvDNlLvWEQC8QCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/1116b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1627" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dbjAXCzkpuA/YZRpYdu7h8I/AAAAAAAAWKM/5Fo1qNvWtQcjKWZ37qyFBvDNlLvWEQC8QCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/1116b.jpg" width="254" /></a></div>I used the <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/curious-metallic-white-silver-cardstock#">Curious Metallic Cardstock in White Silver</a> and cut it to 4 7/8 inches by 3 3/4 inches. And that made a big difference for me. Now I am trying to make sure that I have some cards in Spanish as well as in English as I live in the Southwest and we do have a lot of Spanish speaking friends. I used a die from Penny Black for my sentiment cutting it out of the same <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/curious-metallic-white-silver-cardstock#">Curious Metallic Cardstock in White Silver</a> and I used a few jewels from a Queen and Company Bling set I have to dot my letter Is. I did use <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/paper-adhesives/products/score-tape-premium-double-sided-adhesive-27-yds">ScorTape</a> on the back of my cardstock when I ran it through my die cutting machine so that my sentiment would actually be a sticker. And there you have it. I love how this came out.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7Zwh-kSU6C0/YZRpolcM4WI/AAAAAAAAWKc/ja7uAhQlRLoj0ojZRAbA1uuRXWVf58kJwCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/1116d.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7Zwh-kSU6C0/YZRpolcM4WI/AAAAAAAAWKc/ja7uAhQlRLoj0ojZRAbA1uuRXWVf58kJwCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/1116d.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-at_zoTaW63I/YZRpnDF_o9I/AAAAAAAAWKU/Oq-aQETdY5AQ9YqOOf6M70oTW9JHsexnACNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/1116c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1613" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-at_zoTaW63I/YZRpnDF_o9I/AAAAAAAAWKU/Oq-aQETdY5AQ9YqOOf6M70oTW9JHsexnACNcBGAsYHQ/s320/1116c.jpg" width="252" /></a></div><p></p><p>I have an affiliate link for <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com?p=HJ0CrVwH8">CutCaardstock</a> if you would please consider using it. Today I wanted to bring you something that for some of you may be a bit different, and for some of you, you may be thinking, this is not new and how are you so late to the party! Ok, so what exactly am I talking about? I have recently become a fan of Pinkfresh Studios line and, in particular, they have washi tape that has a super strong hold, and it coordinates with a matching die. So you put your washi tape on your cardstock and then use the coordinating die and run it through your die cutting machine! All your card elements are then cut out already colored and ready to just adhere to your projects. How awesome is that! And they have the matching stamps also, and stencils that even match so you can do your own colors. But for todays' project I am using the washi tape.</p><p>Oh and one thing to also keep in mind when using washi on cardstock, the color of the cardstock that you use can either brighten or subdue the washi colors a little bit. And full credit, I learned about this while attending a virtual online retreat called Happiness is Homemade which was put on by a company called Firefly Farms, and was able to take a virtual class on this using Pinkfresh Studios products and learned from the amazing, and very talented Lea Lawson. So, you are getting my spin on this project, so lets get to the project. </p><p>I am using Joyful Bouquet Washi Tape and coordinating die, along with the sentiment stamp set from the coordinating stamp set. I am using <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/white-card-stock/products/classiccrestnaturalcardstock?variant=668594601">Classic Crest Natural White</a> for not only creating my A2 card base, but also for my smallest card layer. Additionally I am using <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/orange-card-stock/products/textured-orange-discount-cardstock#">Adobo Textured Cardstock</a> and <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/yellow-card-stock/products/canvas-yellow-discount-cardstock#">Yellow Jacket Textured Cardstock</a> for my layers. My A2 card layer is creted by cutting my <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/white-card-stock/products/classiccrestnaturalcardstock?variant=668594601">Classic Crest Natural White</a> to 8 1/2 inches x 5 1/2 inches and then scoring at 4 1/4 inches. I am then cutting my <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/orange-card-stock/products/textured-orange-discount-cardstock#">Adobo Textured Cardstock</a> to 4 inches by 5 1/4 inches, and my <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/yellow-card-stock/products/canvas-yellow-discount-cardstock#">Yellow Jacket Textured Cardstock</a> to 3 3/4 inches by 5 inches, and finally <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/white-card-stock/products/classiccrestnaturalcardstock?variant=668594601">Classic Crest Natural White</a> to 3 1/2 inches by 4 3/4 inches. I am then adhering all my layers with <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/paper-adhesives/products/score-tape-premium-double-sided-adhesive-27-yds#">ScorTape</a>. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-SnLrBRtoCRs/YXNSijQNP2I/AAAAAAAAWC0/ojx5HXCi7nQ7exg49lhdJCImRl4mBYyigCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/1022a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-SnLrBRtoCRs/YXNSijQNP2I/AAAAAAAAWC0/ojx5HXCi7nQ7exg49lhdJCImRl4mBYyigCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/1022a.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Next I am taking a piece of my washi, adhered to a sheet of <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/white-card-stock/products/classic-crest-solar-white-card-stock#">Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock</a>. I wanted to make sure my colors stay as true and bright as possible. I am then using the coordinating die and running it through my die cut machine. I chose a sentiment from the matching stamp set and used my MISTI and Memento Tuxedo Black to stamp my sentiment and then just trimmed around the sentiment. Then using <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/paper-adhesives/products/score-tape-premium-double-sided-adhesive-27-yds#">ScorTape</a> I adhered my flowers, and the cute bow that I had in my stash from Anna Griffin from a number of years ago. And finally, I used Double Sided Foam Adhesive Circles to pop up my sentiment. And there you have it!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7SjrXkEBNUU/YXNSyEagySI/AAAAAAAAWDE/9kDUJgvcQMQJ_b429SqruOoINuwlrYI2wCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/1022d.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1872" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7SjrXkEBNUU/YXNSyEagySI/AAAAAAAAWDE/9kDUJgvcQMQJ_b429SqruOoINuwlrYI2wCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/1022d.jpg" width="293" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-O-ousI2IZno/YXNSw9m7emI/AAAAAAAAWC8/q3KaCIX0mjUzWFiZZAjO_JvcnaVLmCT1gCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/1022c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-O-ousI2IZno/YXNSw9m7emI/AAAAAAAAWC8/q3KaCIX0mjUzWFiZZAjO_JvcnaVLmCT1gCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/1022c.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-he1gWDlMSNA/YXNSvwVFWYI/AAAAAAAAWC4/Mggmae0rgcUwwQtM6Akt8TO1yFA1EtpAACNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/1022b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1680" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-he1gWDlMSNA/YXNSvwVFWYI/AAAAAAAAWC4/Mggmae0rgcUwwQtM6Akt8TO1yFA1EtpAACNcBGAsYHQ/s320/1022b.jpg" width="263" /></a></div>I have an affiliate link for <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com?p=HJ0CrVwH8">CutCaardstock</a> if you would please consider using it. Are you all in the swing of everything autumn? Around here it seems like no matter where you go, there is pumpkin spice, leaves changing colors, and even some cooler temperatures. So it stands to reason that my card today features Fall colors, and is a fun Thank You card. To me, this just fits! So let's have a look!</p><p>For this card I am using <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/white-card-stock/products/classiccrestnaturalcardstock?variant=668594601">Classic Crest Natural White</a> for not only my base, but also for my embossing and die cutting. I am cutting an A2 card base (8 1/2 inches x 5 1/2 inches and then scoring at 4 1/4 inches). With the leftover half of the cardstock, I am cutting it into two pieces, both 5 1/2 inches by 4 1/4 inches. I am taking one of these two pieces and using an embossing folder that I have had for literally years, called Honeysuckle Vines, from Anna Griffin, I am running this through my Gemini Die Cutting machine. Next, I am using the other piece of Natural White and with heart dies from The Stamp Market which I just got while participating in an event called Crop and Create.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-n6N2Gkt5oVM/YWYr-ctvWMI/AAAAAAAAWBo/56keIRivV-kEfrc-kQBYdjIWi0F4yjNfgCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/1012a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-n6N2Gkt5oVM/YWYr-ctvWMI/AAAAAAAAWBo/56keIRivV-kEfrc-kQBYdjIWi0F4yjNfgCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/1012a.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p></p><p>Next, I am using a coordinating stamp set that goes with that die set I just mentioned, and using the veins part only of a two step stamp. I am actually using colored cardstock and stamping the veins on, then die cutting the leaves. For this I am using cardstock in <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/orange-card-stock/products/orange-fizz-discount-cardstock#">Orange Fizz Pop Tone Cardstock</a>, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/orange-card-stock/products/textured-orange-discount-cardstock#">Adobo Textured Cardstock</a>, and <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/yellow-card-stock/products/canvas-yellow-discount-cardstock#">Yellow Jacket Textured Cardstock</a>, and for my stamping I am using inks from Catherine Pooler in Samba, Orange Twist and Tiki Torch.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-A2Rmc9-l6yQ/YWYsLQsSgYI/AAAAAAAAWBs/34hjYdKPdBg2FjZDR-K29n4GA5emJWDAwCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/1012b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-A2Rmc9-l6yQ/YWYsLQsSgYI/AAAAAAAAWBs/34hjYdKPdBg2FjZDR-K29n4GA5emJWDAwCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/1012b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p></p><p>Now that we have all our pieces, we will assemble our card using <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/paper-adhesives/products/score-tape-premium-double-sided-adhesive-27-yds#">ScorTape</a>. And here you have it!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wJClJCroq-8/YWYsZqCt3SI/AAAAAAAAWB4/kgUxZuq3pxU2tLGfVUq7mFEJCnVybi2ywCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/1012d.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wJClJCroq-8/YWYsZqCt3SI/AAAAAAAAWB4/kgUxZuq3pxU2tLGfVUq7mFEJCnVybi2ywCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/1012d.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-AWsSowSNjSc/YWYsX052fmI/AAAAAAAAWB0/JZjmWdX3BBE009uO9ohH6L7uGbgxMS5nwCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/1012c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-AWsSowSNjSc/YWYsX052fmI/AAAAAAAAWB0/JZjmWdX3BBE009uO9ohH6L7uGbgxMS5nwCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/1012c.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p></p><p>I have an affiliate link for <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com?p=HJ0CrVwH8">CutCaardstock</a> if you would please consider using it. Happy Friday! Well it is finally cooling down in my little corner of the world! Which makes sense because the International Balloon Fiesta starts tomorrow and it always cools down right around the start of it. But before I post lots of Hot Air Balloon cards and Alien cards, check out this really fun winter card! I adore penguins, and in this new Sparkle Blend, LOOK! PENGUINS!!!!!! I used the <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/1079579511/snow-birds-doodles-paper-playground?ref=shop_home_active_3&pro=1">Snow Birds Sparkle Blend</a> along with All Bundled Up 6x6 Paper Pad from Queen and Company, along with some Lawn Fawn Layering Dies and a retired set called Frosties to create this infinity shaker.<br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1580" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cO3x09oXX6I/YVePHkGs6FI/AAAAAAAAWAc/y0LTpk4iyy4MMcYIMHNpVsGNz5wGm2G8QCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/1001a.jpg" width="247" /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-X2tryec2OwU/YVePKloY5rI/AAAAAAAAWAk/yMcs2vh6k5sUPWOovF0EJcTz3mtWMFnAwCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/1001b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-X2tryec2OwU/YVePKloY5rI/AAAAAAAAWAk/yMcs2vh6k5sUPWOovF0EJcTz3mtWMFnAwCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/1001b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0TVTNu0soWc/YVePJPGVX9I/AAAAAAAAWAg/DI3bHTfSVmwomaPYVkcYs--fHj7Hz8_uQCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/1001c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0TVTNu0soWc/YVePJPGVX9I/AAAAAAAAWAg/DI3bHTfSVmwomaPYVkcYs--fHj7Hz8_uQCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/1001c.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Sg_6JRPSVJo/YVePMfRvXpI/AAAAAAAAWAo/3whVBUrzZKU8Kl6n6adj89PJuMxfyuzDgCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/1001d.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Sg_6JRPSVJo/YVePMfRvXpI/AAAAAAAAWAo/3whVBUrzZKU8Kl6n6adj89PJuMxfyuzDgCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/1001d.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /> <span style="font-family: quot;">I really adore how this came out!</span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: quot; font-size: small;">Head over to the </span><span style="font-family: quot; font-size: small;"><a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/SparkleBlendsShop?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=807024827" style="font-family: inherit;" target="_blank">Sparkle Blends Shop</a><span style="font-family: inherit;">. and grab your favorites</span><span>!!!!!! I love all the magicalness of the lights, the smells, the total sparkle of the holiday season. I am "that parent" that would go to Polar Express even if my children are at that point that they don't want to. I really love everything about the magic of the season. And with that, I bring you this. </p><p>For this project I am using a bit of a combination of things. The magic comes from the sparkle of a Sparkle Blends Mix called <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/1065635576/stockings-were-hung-doodles-paper?ref=shop_home_active_16">Stockings Were Hung</a>. I am using my shape elements, sentiment and foam shaker from Heartfelt Holiday Shaker Kit by Queen and Company along with papers from North Pole Party and Winter Wonderland Solids 6x6 paper pads, also by Queen and Company. I am also using a bow from Anna Griffin as well as cardstock card base from CutCardstock. I am also using Scor Tape and Lawn Fawn Glue Tube to attach everything.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3nw5q42BVHw/YVThs2kvLqI/AAAAAAAAWAM/55PbnNnQbjwWOmtQmmSiPTQ_6hfticI9QCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0929d.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3nw5q42BVHw/YVThs2kvLqI/AAAAAAAAWAM/55PbnNnQbjwWOmtQmmSiPTQ_6hfticI9QCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0929d.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-I-k9nKf2WJI/YVThptyPwLI/AAAAAAAAWAI/86oK5Lkp2ssONTWDqZCvkPOj3oWiz54yQCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0929c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-I-k9nKf2WJI/YVThptyPwLI/AAAAAAAAWAI/86oK5Lkp2ssONTWDqZCvkPOj3oWiz54yQCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0929c.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-eoP86xKs-7Q/YVThnWNJBUI/AAAAAAAAWAE/09r64zeY0pYm1H0auNHsiHCq2P28VS9YQCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0929b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-eoP86xKs-7Q/YVThnWNJBUI/AAAAAAAAWAE/09r64zeY0pYm1H0auNHsiHCq2P28VS9YQCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0929b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-AEzY4xuPy6o/YVThlNPpuvI/AAAAAAAAWAA/R_zB5y9qt38n-78eMxoZZYZoDtMKXZ6IACNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0929a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1649" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-AEzY4xuPy6o/YVThlNPpuvI/AAAAAAAAWAA/R_zB5y9qt38n-78eMxoZZYZoDtMKXZ6IACNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0929a.jpg" width="258" /></a></div><span style="font-family: quot;">I really adore how this came out!</span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: quot; font-size: small;">Head over to the </span><span style="font-family: quot; font-size: small;"><a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/SparkleBlendsShop?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=807024827" style="font-family: inherit;" target="_blank">Sparkle Blends Shop</a><span style="font-family: inherit;">. and grab your favorites</span><span>!!!!!! Yes, you read that right. I did say Video Hop! Yup, I made a video and am participating in a video hop! There is definitely what I consider to be a definite learning curve on making videos which is very different than doing a blog post or an Instagram post. And for me personally, I have a really short attention span. </p><p>So here are the basics. Check out this company, https://www.crescentcreation.com/ . I got to play with two of their new digi release sets, <a href="https://www.crescentcreation.com/product/big-trick-n-treat-sentiment-digital-stamp/">Big Trick n Treat Sentiment Digital Stamp</a> and <a href="https://www.crescentcreation.com/product/trick-or-treat-digital-stamp/">Trick or Treat Digital Stamp</a> and with these I am doing some ink blending, foiling and, you know me, a shaker card ultimately!.</p><p><span class="d2edcug0 hpfvmrgz qv66sw1b c1et5uql lr9zc1uh a8c37x1j keod5gw0 nxhoafnm aigsh9s9 d3f4x2em fe6kdd0r mau55g9w c8b282yb iv3no6db jq4qci2q a3bd9o3v b1v8xokw oo9gr5id" dir="auto">Oh, and did I mention, Crescent Creation will be giving away a $25 gift certificate to their store! Yes Please!<p>I love making Fall cards, and I love making Birthday cards. And when you can combine the two? Well, what could be better! So let's get started!</p><p>I wanted a slightly warmer tone with this Fall Birthday card, so I am using <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/all/products/neenah-classic-crest-card-stock?variant=755223469">Classic Crest Baronial Ivory 80# Cover</a> for both my card base and for my leaf blending layer. So I am cutting an A2 card base (8 1/2 inches x 5 1/2 inches and then scoring at 4 1/4 inches. I am then taking the other half of my sheet of cardstock and using Catherine Pooler inks in Tutti Frutti, Orange Twist, Shea Butter and Tiki Torch and blending these with my Taylored Expressions Blending Brushes. Now since I am intending on die cutting this with a leafy border background die, I wasn't looking for a perfect blend. So you can see I have done this blending first before die cutting. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WbfAzbPVDGk/YU3wt_tNHTI/AAAAAAAAV_A/y33ZOvm425AdTCmYPwuuy1v3-l5-P75UgCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0924a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WbfAzbPVDGk/YU3wt_tNHTI/AAAAAAAAV_A/y33ZOvm425AdTCmYPwuuy1v3-l5-P75UgCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0924a.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Next, I am using the new cover die from Lawn Fawn called Fall Leaves Backdrop, and cutting out my leafy layer. Now I did want a bit of a border on the card so I cut the die a second time, but this time I used <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/stardream-metallic-card-stock/products/stardream-metallic-gold-card-stock#">Stardream Metallic Gold 105# Cardstock</a>.I then trimmed off the leaves, which then gave me a perfectly fitting border. I then used <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/paper-adhesives/products/score-tape-premium-double-sided-adhesive-27-yds#">ScorTape</a> to adhere my leaf layer and my gold frame layer. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jQUjMxlfl60/YU3w4169_II/AAAAAAAAV_E/ZHclUMo9kgUY19AsrzOEItdkWELMcj5OQCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0924b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jQUjMxlfl60/YU3w4169_II/AAAAAAAAV_E/ZHclUMo9kgUY19AsrzOEItdkWELMcj5OQCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0924b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-j4y-9Qwuvn0/YU3y7RqWFfI/AAAAAAAAV_Q/7mRMOCu5EWAy8fzPIi8CyPDdxj4AT4nGQCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0924c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1642" data-original-width="2048" height="257" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-j4y-9Qwuvn0/YU3y7RqWFfI/AAAAAAAAV_Q/7mRMOCu5EWAy8fzPIi8CyPDdxj4AT4nGQCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0924c.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-14Tr9LMDINo/YU3zCSZUF2I/AAAAAAAAV_U/59G-eoWsKicQNAQhhhfjSQiOpiFYASQqwCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0924d.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1598" data-original-width="2048" height="250" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-14Tr9LMDINo/YU3zCSZUF2I/AAAAAAAAV_U/59G-eoWsKicQNAQhhhfjSQiOpiFYASQqwCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0924d.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Next for my sentiment I used a pretty new to me die set from Spellbinders called Simply Perfect Mix and Match Sentiments. Now what I really adore about this die set is that if you look, you will see that the dot for the letter I in Birthday is actually an attached piece and not a separate floating little dot, that I tend to lose when making cards. So I have taken a piece of <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/brown-card-stock/products/ginger-linen-12x12-cardstock">Ginger Snap Cardstock</a> and before running it through my die cutting machine, I am adding some <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/paper-adhesives/products/score-tape-premium-double-sided-adhesive-27-yds#">ScorTape</a> behind so that when I cut the sentiment out, I am actually making myself a sticker. This makes the whole adding of a die cut so much easier. At least it makes it easier for me.<p></p><p>And with that, our project is complete!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5PYoPG4zFws/YU3zRv7yBnI/AAAAAAAAV_g/ZoWRW7zDezcybFIlxnJESqLp167u3aC9ACNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0924g.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5PYoPG4zFws/YU3zRv7yBnI/AAAAAAAAV_g/ZoWRW7zDezcybFIlxnJESqLp167u3aC9ACNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0924g.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FcjD6bM5dxI/YU3zT959U3I/AAAAAAAAV_o/mYm8l5AsaZw2dbaR4_bktyqvGz8TloE5gCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0924f.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FcjD6bM5dxI/YU3zT959U3I/AAAAAAAAV_o/mYm8l5AsaZw2dbaR4_bktyqvGz8TloE5gCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0924f.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3h-62AvQM64/YU3zP-h7PSI/AAAAAAAAV_c/uv6WkuU-WzE9-ZH42Jhke8taPGMFlCfxACNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0924e.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1996" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3h-62AvQM64/YU3zP-h7PSI/AAAAAAAAV_c/uv6WkuU-WzE9-ZH42Jhke8taPGMFlCfxACNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0924e.jpg" width="312" /></a></div>I have an affiliate link for <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com?p=HJ0CrVwH8">CutCaardstock</a> if you would please consider using it. Well this year I am promising myself that I will be more on top of Holiday cards. So today I am bringing you a holiday card! I have been playing with the fantastic new release from Sparkle Blends and can't wait to show you some total cuteness! <br /></p><p>I am using the Sparkle Blend called <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/1079453895/gingerbread-house-doodles-paper?ref=shop_home_active_17">Gingerbread House</a>, and what better to use it with than North Pole from Queen and Company! The stamps, dies and shaped shakers work with this blend perfectly! I am making a few at a time so I am repeating this step for each one I want to make.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KiCpmJIokLw/YUVsppIvEGI/AAAAAAAAV9c/wWywFvPDm6ML5nkrVgHf8QA8FpfN3_HZgCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0918b.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1554" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KiCpmJIokLw/YUVsppIvEGI/AAAAAAAAV9c/wWywFvPDm6ML5nkrVgHf8QA8FpfN3_HZgCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0918b.jpg" width="243" /></a></div><p></p><p>Next I am using 6 x 6 papers from Pumpkin Party from Doodlebug. I am cutting these papers to 4 1/2 inches x 3 inches. When you are doing this, depending on the pattern on the paper, you may need to make sure that you are cutting in the right direction so that the picture makes sense.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gyGu_E8Qpvo/YUVs0htNCPI/AAAAAAAAV9k/R5boFWvwy9II_Ode1xK7pUFrFQTMGC4kACNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0918c.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gyGu_E8Qpvo/YUVs0htNCPI/AAAAAAAAV9k/R5boFWvwy9II_Ode1xK7pUFrFQTMGC4kACNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0918c.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p></p><p>I am then using my favorite <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/paper-adhesives/products/score-tape-premium-double-sided-adhesive-27-yds">scor tape</a> to attach my sides as well as my patterned paper.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-BY1GZnK_FuA/YUVs-jwRySI/AAAAAAAAV9s/2ueQufkivR0RmIwXanNOqzVbDBTrWqwcwCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0918d.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-BY1GZnK_FuA/YUVs-jwRySI/AAAAAAAAV9s/2ueQufkivR0RmIwXanNOqzVbDBTrWqwcwCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0918d.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p></p><p>From here, it is really down to how you want to decorate. I am using one of the cut apart sheets in the same paper pad. Now these cutaparts are 1 1/2 inches x 2 inches. I am then cutting <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/yellow-card-stock/products/rubberducky-yellow-discount-card-stock#">Canvas Rubber Ducky Yellow Cardstock</a> at 2 1/4 inches x 1 3/4 inches to mat my little cutapart pieces. I am adding some washi tape to the flap and adhering the flap so it stays open. I am also using <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/paper-adhesives/products/double-sided-foam-adhesive-squares#">Foam Adhesive Squares</a> to pop them up. And there you have it. A really fun way to make passing out treats a little more fun for those special people on your Trick Or Treat List!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NT4BFAeKl-8/YUVtKvkbKRI/AAAAAAAAV90/p-fN6m2F6AYpPSAqnMKQHnafjcOkUGO9wCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0918e.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NT4BFAeKl-8/YUVtKvkbKRI/AAAAAAAAV90/p-fN6m2F6AYpPSAqnMKQHnafjcOkUGO9wCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0918e.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p></p><p>I have an affiliate link for <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com?p=HJ0CrVwH8">CutCaardstock</a> if you would please consider using it. I have always loved sunflowers, and seeing them just always makes me smile. So when I saw this amazing layering stamp se from Hero Arts, called Sunflower Field Color Layering Scape. I knew I just had to play with it. I wanted to do something a little different though from what i have been doing lately using white cardstock for my card base, so I have changed it up a bit. I am using <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/stardream-metallic-card-stock/products/stardream-metallic-gold-card-stock#">Stardream Metallic Gold 105# Cardstock</a>, which I have cut to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches and scored at 4 1/4 inches to create my A2 card base. I then cut cardstock layers as follows to create my layers: <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/orange-card-stock/products/orange-fizz-discount-cardstock#">Pop Tone Orange Fizz Cardstock</a> cut to 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 inches, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/brown-card-stock/products/ginger-linen-12x12-cardstock">Ginger Snap Cardstock</a> cut to 4 x 5 1/4 inches, <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/brown-card-stock/products/pop-tone-brown-card-stock#">Pop Tone Hot Fudge Cardstock</a> cut to 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 inches, and <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/white-card-stock/products/classiccrestnaturalcardstock?variant=668594601">Classic Crest Cardstock in Classic Natural White</a> cutting 2 pieces, one cut to 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 inches and the second cut to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches to use for stamping.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-S_5a8o2BSNM/YTl4Tu0hWDI/AAAAAAAAV8U/6FWrIdWdezoG6LpLNoDu76GMz1sNZQWFQCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0908a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2028" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-S_5a8o2BSNM/YTl4Tu0hWDI/AAAAAAAAV8U/6FWrIdWdezoG6LpLNoDu76GMz1sNZQWFQCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0908a.jpg" width="317" /></a></div>I am using <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/paper-adhesives/products/score-tape-premium-double-sided-adhesive-27-yds#">ScorTape</a> to adhere all my cardstock layers to my front panel as well as the Natural White Cardstock to the inside of the card to give a perfect spot for writing a special message.<p></p><p>Now for stamping my layering scene I am using that piece of Natural White Cardstock cut to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. It will get trimmed down after we have stamped so it is ok if it is a little off. Now for my stamping I am using my MISTI. I would absolutely recommend to anyone using layering stamps that you use some kind of stamp positioner as it makes the process so much easier. I am using Catherine Pooler inks in the following colors to create my layers: Grass Skirt, Spruce, Sauna, Orange Peel, and Icing On The Cake. These created my layered sunflower field.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fxhYv9YRNHI/YTl4roCzoDI/AAAAAAAAV8c/QerFge7PqXIwhssyG-1DYAxtLKJK3ZkJACNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0908b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1780" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fxhYv9YRNHI/YTl4roCzoDI/AAAAAAAAV8c/QerFge7PqXIwhssyG-1DYAxtLKJK3ZkJACNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0908b.jpg" width="278" /></a></div>Next for some ink blending to create my sky. I used Taylored Expressions ink blending brushes. Again I am using Catherine Pooler inks, but for this I am using Shea Butter, Bellini and Sauna.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IIAGpcAcBqE/YTl42m7_D-I/AAAAAAAAV8g/lOHm0iK6KME80GM0-pP4RvP0ZYlJhsRUQCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0908c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1813" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IIAGpcAcBqE/YTl42m7_D-I/AAAAAAAAV8g/lOHm0iK6KME80GM0-pP4RvP0ZYlJhsRUQCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0908c.jpg" width="283" /></a> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I am then using a die from Pinkfresh Studios Essentials Die Set called Stitched Rectangles to then cut the stamped image down. I then decided to use a sentiment from a different Hero Arts set called Tulip Field Color Layering Scape, and I stamped this with Memento ink in Rich Cocoa, using my MISTI to position and stamp the sentiment. I then attached this to the card and there you have it!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JGyXc-BSpHs/YTl7gS2v5sI/AAAAAAAAV84/e_jPPBc2Z8wr_qlUmbsQmdHsSty7bI5ggCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0908h.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1142" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JGyXc-BSpHs/YTl7gS2v5sI/AAAAAAAAV84/e_jPPBc2Z8wr_qlUmbsQmdHsSty7bI5ggCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0908h.jpg" width="178" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gEKw3D_IQAQ/YTl7fCqsc0I/AAAAAAAAV80/prtD_nOpxCsKERj9q9N8QVxSUX7NHJOAQCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0908g.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1949" data-original-width="2048" height="305" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gEKw3D_IQAQ/YTl7fCqsc0I/AAAAAAAAV80/prtD_nOpxCsKERj9q9N8QVxSUX7NHJOAQCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0908g.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4JU2lipGhf0/YTl7dL4518I/AAAAAAAAV8s/ohyeVFEXR_cewzZZ58pxKpQOh4f5aC7VgCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0908f.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4JU2lipGhf0/YTl7dL4518I/AAAAAAAAV8s/ohyeVFEXR_cewzZZ58pxKpQOh4f5aC7VgCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0908f.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IOA3PZu4fTc/YTl7d1kRz3I/AAAAAAAAV8w/_h6lONMj1LAkZDWcUe3koQ-NUpXnyxPVACNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0908d.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1897" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IOA3PZu4fTc/YTl7d1kRz3I/AAAAAAAAV8w/_h6lONMj1LAkZDWcUe3koQ-NUpXnyxPVACNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0908d.jpg" width="296" /></a></div></div><p></p><p>I have an affiliate link for <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com?p=HJ0CrVwH8">CutCaardstock</a> if you would please consider using it. Too fast for my taste to be sure! Well with that said, I have been playing with the fantastic new release from Sparkle Blends and can't wait to show you some total cuteness! </p><p>Today I am playing with <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/1063014997/vampire-bat-doodles-paper-playground?ref=shop_home_active_2&crt=1">Vampire Bat Sparkle Blend</a> and a fun stamp set from Clearly Besotted called <a href="https://www.clearlybesottedstamps.com/products/balloon-bunch-halloween">Balloon Bunch Halloween</a>. These go together so perfectly! I have used Distress Inks in Squeezed Lemonade,Carved Pumpkin,Ripe Persimmon, and Wilted Violet. I used my blending brushes from Taylored Expressions for my ink blending. I then used Memento Tuxedo Black for all my stamping aling with my Misti. I really am totally lost without my MISTI. Getting it was truly a game changer for me, more than any other tool in my craftroom. I also used a Memento Tuxedo Black marker, which allowed me to add some little details back in and helped keep my fussy cutting even easier. I did color in my critter and my balloon with Copics, using C1, C5, C9, B32, B34, B26, V01, V09, Y08, Y38, YR68 and YR09.</p><p>To create my card layers I used a die set from Pinkfresh from their Essentials collection called Stitched Rectangles, and used this with Doodlebug Designs Ghost Town 6x6 paper pad. I adhered my layers together using Scortape. Now I created my shaker component using acetate and Scortape along with my scoring board and bone folder. This allowed me to create my shaker pouch which worked perfectly to bring this whole project together. Have a look!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-g-pxduTP8x4/YSa0OkYQ6wI/AAAAAAAAV7I/dem_4LlI_AoIh9jRfwfuETHMwPNjOwgtgCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0825d.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-g-pxduTP8x4/YSa0OkYQ6wI/AAAAAAAAV7I/dem_4LlI_AoIh9jRfwfuETHMwPNjOwgtgCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0825d.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6B8XvUUvcmM/YSa0LL18j7I/AAAAAAAAV7A/y8U1aZ4-4yMl9g2iB76H79cBfYr89bi1wCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0825c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6B8XvUUvcmM/YSa0LL18j7I/AAAAAAAAV7A/y8U1aZ4-4yMl9g2iB76H79cBfYr89bi1wCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0825c.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yokHj-RKBHM/YSa0MpLFHoI/AAAAAAAAV7E/aSAh425qq4QWjILJDoPXHpN5Mit1AdyoACNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0825b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1614" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yokHj-RKBHM/YSa0MpLFHoI/AAAAAAAAV7E/aSAh425qq4QWjILJDoPXHpN5Mit1AdyoACNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0825b.jpg" width="252" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hf4QCIfMH9Q/YSa0KGbDVHI/AAAAAAAAV68/lGsvzjKn0HoS5ini2lyCyejkMKNSIp2qQCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0825a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hf4QCIfMH9Q/YSa0KGbDVHI/AAAAAAAAV68/lGsvzjKn0HoS5ini2lyCyejkMKNSIp2qQCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0825a.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p></p><p><span style="font-family: quot;">I really adore how this came out!</span></p><p><span style="font-family: quot; font-size: small;">Head over to the </span><span style="font-family: quot; font-size: small;"><a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/SparkleBlendsShop?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=807024827" style="font-family: inherit;" target="_blank">Sparkle Blends Shop</a><span style="font-family: inherit;">. and grab your favorites</span><span>!!!!!! In fact, it was always the Wednesday immediately following Labor Day. Here in New Mexico school started on August 11. There shouldn't be more than a month left of summer when kids go back to school. Well since it is what it is, I decided to make my daughter a back to school card to tuck in her lunch. I decided to use <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/white-card-stock/products/classiccrestnaturalcardstock?variant=668594601">Classic Crest Cardstock in Classic Natural White</a>. Now if you haven't tried this cardstock before, this color is almost a light Ivory, rather than a white, so it isn't as stark but it is also not as yellowish as a more ivory cardstock.</p><p>I am using my MISTI to position my image as well as my sentiment because I wanted to make sure both would fit inside the die I am planning to use in my card layout. A lot of times I don't think ahead, and I am trying to be better about that. so you can see the stamped image and sentiment fit inside the die.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6_2IVrBY1Vo/YRxkOO4sP0I/AAAAAAAAV6U/KDfk6GUslhsj4bVl-7xNDPmb9zrQ_jojACNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0818a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1578" data-original-width="2048" height="247" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6_2IVrBY1Vo/YRxkOO4sP0I/AAAAAAAAV6U/KDfk6GUslhsj4bVl-7xNDPmb9zrQ_jojACNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0818a.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p></p><p>Next I am going to use my copics to color up this fun image. This is from a Kraftin Kimmie Stamp Set called Book Dragon. I have used Copic markers in YG01, YG05, YG09, C1, YR20, YR23 YR24, YR27 to color up my dragon friend.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lVoiSQOu1j8/YRxkXngPe7I/AAAAAAAAV6Y/ikgVXUGCo5oqqJJ8kksST-rgNhE05NSqQCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0818b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1727" data-original-width="2048" height="270" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lVoiSQOu1j8/YRxkXngPe7I/AAAAAAAAV6Y/ikgVXUGCo5oqqJJ8kksST-rgNhE05NSqQCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0818b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p></p><p>Then some layering dies from Lawn Fawn with <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/yellow-card-stock/products/rubberducky-yellow-discount-card-stock#">Canvas Texture Rubber Ducky</a> Cardstock and <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/orange-card-stock/products/textured-orange-discount-cardstock#">Adobo (Textured)</a> Cardstock with some <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/paper-adhesives/products/score-tape-premium-double-sided-adhesive-27-yds#">ScorTape</a>. and this is just about done! One last step and that is to adhere to a card base that I am making from the same Classic Natural White cardstock.</p><p>I do hope she likes it when she finds it in her backpack. So what do you think? </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Jvjfuit1ouo/YRxkp-NrcnI/AAAAAAAAV6o/I1nsTqdYktgH8aVqdJztRAClh52l47WzgCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0818e.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1908" data-original-width="2048" height="298" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Jvjfuit1ouo/YRxkp-NrcnI/AAAAAAAAV6o/I1nsTqdYktgH8aVqdJztRAClh52l47WzgCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0818e.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6fBjsQlaSwE/YRxknQ6ZCPI/AAAAAAAAV6g/WZYL_Oq_Cq0w6Y2A6XsgtIWWuAgqu3vRACNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0818d.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6fBjsQlaSwE/YRxknQ6ZCPI/AAAAAAAAV6g/WZYL_Oq_Cq0w6Y2A6XsgtIWWuAgqu3vRACNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0818d.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gg8f_Q2lmnM/YRxkoQJxrsI/AAAAAAAAV6k/laS3CFaFSgY0ZO7XVCd3EJlRDD_VNWnSACNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0818c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1629" data-original-width="2048" height="255" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gg8f_Q2lmnM/YRxkoQJxrsI/AAAAAAAAV6k/laS3CFaFSgY0ZO7XVCd3EJlRDD_VNWnSACNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0818c.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p></p><p>I have an affiliate link for <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com?p=HJ0CrVwH8">CutCaardstock</a> if

Ya know that excitement when you find new products or new companies and you get excited? Especially when you have that moment when you think to yourself, of course that totally makes sense? Well that has happened for me, pretty recently, with Pinkfresh Studios and their flower sets. I mean, think about this, they have stamps that coordinate with layering stencils, and you stamp once (well when i say once, it is a large stamp so I use my Misti) and the die lines up perfectlt for you to cut once, and they even have the piece to do hot foiling! This has totally blown my mind. Which brings me to today's project!</p><p>I am using <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/white-card-stock/products/classic-crest-solar-white-card-stock?variant=668597045">Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock 110 lb</a> for my card base, for my white card layers and also my white cardstock for my stamping and blending layers. I have cut down several sheets to create multiple panels. I have then scored four of those panels at 4 1/4 inches to create my card bases. I then have taken two of these panels and used them in my Misti. I am stamping the flower image using Pinkfresh Studios Metropolis Ink.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5z3kMKBxu8w/YQ8sx46fY8I/AAAAAAAAV4s/LujFD2qITWkA-mARScGpzS7z8QvnKc2wACNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0808a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1715" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5z3kMKBxu8w/YQ8sx46fY8I/AAAAAAAAV4s/LujFD2qITWkA-mARScGpzS7z8QvnKc2wACNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0808a.jpg" width="268" /></a> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"> I am then leaving the stamp in my Misti and rotating my cardstock 180 degrees and stamping my image a second time. I am then repeating this process on a second panel. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-89MByLNXsUQ/YQ8tExwcicI/AAAAAAAAV40/iMtRWI8CZ7wTl0r0ea_GrxTP5mDzuZ7ngCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0808b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1890" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-89MByLNXsUQ/YQ8tExwcicI/AAAAAAAAV40/iMtRWI8CZ7wTl0r0ea_GrxTP5mDzuZ7ngCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0808b.jpg" width="295" /></a></div>The reason I am doing this is that once I am stenciling my colors on I can really create multiple panels in the same time it takes to create one, which then gives me the option to either have more flowers to work with or the ability to create multiple projects in the amount of time it takes to normally create one project.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-X3RjJqFGMSc/YQ8uLbhyfYI/AAAAAAAAV48/FkzvTh8qdC0zlfvHJMPisCRreQYrHULxQCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0808c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1634" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-X3RjJqFGMSc/YQ8uLbhyfYI/AAAAAAAAV48/FkzvTh8qdC0zlfvHJMPisCRreQYrHULxQCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0808c.jpg" width="255" /></a></div>The stamp, die and stencil sets I am using from Pinkfresh are called Be Strong. Now here are the colors I have used with the stencils to create my flowers. For my leaves I used the same two colors on all the panels and those are from Catherine Pooler and are Lime Rickey and Grass Skirt. For the pink flower panel, i used Catherine Pooler Catching Rays, It's A Girl, and Party Dress. For the purple flower panel I used Catherine Pooler Sauna, Pixie Dust, and Grape Crush. For the blue flower panel, i used Sauna, Fiesta Blue, and Something Borrowed. And for the yellowish orange flower panel, I used Sauna, Catching Rays and Tutti Frutti.</div><p></p><p>As for which cardstock I used for each of these cards, the pink one uses <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/pink-card-stock/products/canvas-textured-pink-cardstock#">Canvas Texture Pink Tutu</a> and <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/pink-card-stock/products/vibrant-pink-discount-card-stock">Raspberry Ice.cardstock</a>. The purple one uses <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/purple-card-stock/products/lavender-discount-cardstock#">Canvas Texture Hydrangea Purple</a> and <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/purple-card-stock/products/purple-discount-card-stock">Canvas Texture Plum</a>. The orange one uses <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/yellow-card-stock/products/canvas-yellow-discount-cardstock#">Yellow Jacket (Textured)</a> and <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/orange-card-stock/products/textured-orange-discount-cardstock#">Adobo (Textured)</a> cardstocks. And for the yellow and blue one, I also used <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/yellow-card-stock/products/canvas-yellow-discount-cardstock#">Yellow Jacket (Textured)</a> and <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/blue-card-stock/products/shimmery-blue-discount-cardstock#">Textured Pearlized Splash</a> cardstock.I used a die set for all my layers, also from Pinkfresh, called Stitched Rectangles Essentials Dies with my Gemini, cut all my assorted card layers.<br /></p><p>I stamped my sentiments using my Misti and Pinkfresh Studios Licorice Ink. it is a dark gray but not as severe as black, and for these I did want that slightly less severe look. I then assembled all my layers using <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com/collections/paper-adhesives/products/score-tape-premium-double-sided-adhesive-27-yds#">ScorTape</a>.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vWGkkad67lM/YQ8y2CUTU4I/AAAAAAAAV5Q/7mYAe5P6xZAqG4hxi_jR4wY4M0x8RTrIQCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0808g.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1634" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vWGkkad67lM/YQ8y2CUTU4I/AAAAAAAAV5Q/7mYAe5P6xZAqG4hxi_jR4wY4M0x8RTrIQCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0808g.jpg" width="255" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ue-6_xphOXA/YQ8y0AZ-pVI/AAAAAAAAV5M/FwS8jY4xGp4C3EBv7aFf8QMtxmqRSPn5wCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0808f.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1584" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ue-6_xphOXA/YQ8y0AZ-pVI/AAAAAAAAV5M/FwS8jY4xGp4C3EBv7aFf8QMtxmqRSPn5wCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0808f.jpg" width="248" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3sX6_bBZgNw/YQ8yyeBnWZI/AAAAAAAAV5I/F77gXczxY8IkXZGoaSzmlq-KSA9Wk4Z5wCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0808d.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1592" data-original-width="2048" height="249" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3sX6_bBZgNw/YQ8yyeBnWZI/AAAAAAAAV5I/F77gXczxY8IkXZGoaSzmlq-KSA9Wk4Z5wCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0808d.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YrLlFH2Gj0Q/YQ8yxE0ANVI/AAAAAAAAV5E/0UNJi8OlTKkqjwZmQq7pC1R8Lxt827mfwCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0202d.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1570" data-original-width="2048" height="245" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YrLlFH2Gj0Q/YQ8yxE0ANVI/AAAAAAAAV5E/0UNJi8OlTKkqjwZmQq7pC1R8Lxt827mfwCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0202d.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>So what do you think? <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0hdvDBYtBAM/YQ8zD8VB1UI/AAAAAAAAV5c/hTdne0YO-qMpxjXni0G4Xr3UPjgCrCk8gCNcBGAsYHQ/s2048/0808h.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0hdvDBYtBAM/YQ8zD8VB1UI/AAAAAAAAV5c/hTdne0YO-qMpxjXni0G4Xr3UPjgCrCk8gCNcBGAsYHQ/s320/0808h.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>I have an affiliate link for <a href="https://www.cutcardstock.com?p=HJ0CrVwH8">CutCaardstock</a> if
