Coffee!!!!!

Hello Friends!
Today I am playing with some super fun products from Scrapsalot and Ink Road!
For this fun and caffeinated project I used Mug Life Background Stamp Set by Ink Road, stamped with Versamark and then embossed with white embossing powder, and used my heat gun.
I then proceeded to use distress oxides and apply with a brush for the gradient. I wiped down the panel with a paper towel which then really brought out the white contrast.
I topped it off with another Ink Road Stamp Set called Mug Life. The beauty of this background stamp is that you can really use it with many different beverage sets, as there are an assortment of hot and cold beverage images on it. I stamped the sentiment and image with Momento Tuxedo Black and added a bit of color with Copics.
Finally, I used Score Tape to put everything together, and I just love how this turned out!
I would love to hear what you think about this project! Please leave me a comment and let me know!
And definitely check out Scrapsalot,  and while you are there, here is a code for a 10% discount on your order! Just enter JUDY10 at checkout for your discount!
More fun to follow!!!!

It's Time For Tuesday TTT-July 16-Easy Foil Backgrounds with Creative Inspiration Forum

Hi Everyone! I am excited to be here with all of you as a new member of the Creative Inspiration Design Team! For this weeks Tuesday TTT I am going to share a super quick, easy way to apply foil that can have a fun impact, and lets you play with foil before having to commit to a laminator or other foiling type machine.
First keep in mind, foil can be applied, for the most part, by using something sticky, heat, pressure, or a combination of these. With that said, I am going to create two backgrounds, one using sticky dots and one using scor-tape.
For the first one, I am simply applying sticky glue dots in a random fashion to my cardstock

Next I am applying the foil sheet, shiny side up, on top of my sheet and rubbing gently with my fingers to burnish the foil to the adhesive. It will look like this...
For my second background I am actually using two different thicknesses of scor-tape to create a pattern background. I am using the same technique. And because I am using the scor-tape I can use different colors of foil to create added interest.  However, I am only using one color of foil for this background.

So what do you all think?
Here are my finished projects.
I would love to see you give it a try! Let me know what you think! And check out Creative Inspiration Forum, register and come play!
