Check Out This Fun Interactive Project With All The Fabulous Goodies From Scrapsalot!

Happy New year Everyone! Sending Sunshine to start your New Year with one last project to close out 2019! I finally had a chance to play with some amazing products from Scrapsalot for making this fabulous Lawn Fawn Interactive Card. So check this out!

I used my Misti to stamp out the sentiment and the images from the Lawn Fawn Set called Rain or Shine Before and Afters., using Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then colored my images with Copic markers. On the cloudy sky it doesn't show up well in the photo but the sky is actually gray, using marker C0. I then used the Magic Picture Changer Die Set and the Magic Picture Changer Add On Die Set to create the interactive elements. I used some of the Lawn Fawn Layering Dies for my base card layers. I also used some Lawn Fawn 6x6 patterned papers for my layering. I then adhered everything together using my most favorite Scor-Tape in various sizes.
Scrapsalot carries most of these products and I have included links for you, so check them out, and while you are there, here is a code for a 10% discount on your order! Just enter JUDY10 at checkout for your discount! And if you don't see it in the shop, email Debra and she can help you with whatever you are looking for!
Stay tuned, there is tons coming up in 2020!!!!

It's Time For Challenge #128 at Scrapy Land and it is Anything Goes!

Who is up for an Anything Goes Challenge? You need to use any brand of die that Scrapy Land sells. There will be ONE winner and they will receive a $15 Gift Certificate to go shopping at Scrapy Land.

Scrapy Land carries over 55 brands of dies, so chances are you have a few of the brands in your stash! You can see all the brands carried under the Products category.
Please link back to this Scrapy Land Challenge and include the link to this challenge on your blog post. It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project. (Sometimes we can't tell if an item is a die cut or chipboard.)

And without further ado, here is my project for this challenge!
For this project I used a fabulous die from Memory Box called Pinpoint Snowflake Circle Frame which Scrapy Land  carries and you can find it here. I used a pearlized silver gray cardstock from Crafters Companion as well as an older textured red metallic foil cardstock, and some bling  from Queen and Company. And for my sentiment I used an older Tim Holtz sentiment sticker strip.

Now it's your turn!  You have until December 30th to upload your project to the Scrapy Land Challenge.  We love seeing everything from CAS, layouts, mixed media, planners, and anything else you can think of as long as it includes at least one brand of die that Scrapy Land sells.

Check Out This Holiday Project With All The Fabulous Goodies From Scrapsalot!

Hi Everyone! I had a chance to play with some amazing products from Scrapsalot for making Holiday Cards. So check this out!

I used my Misti to stamp out the sentiment from Hero Arts called Nordic Tree Stamps. I used Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then made using the acetate Foil Mate Background sheet set called Wilderness the front window for a shaker card. I used Silver Foil and ran it through my laminator to create the amazing window layer. I used an older circle die to cut a window in some pearlescent card stock. I then mounted the clear panel on behind the pearlescent Gold Cardstock.I then used foam tape to create the area to put in the sequins for my shaker card. I used sequins from two different Catherine Pooler Mixes. I then adhered silver pearlescent cardstock to the back to finish the shaker panel. Next, also using those older circle dies I created a frame to go around the opening and used green flocking to create the frame. I also used some of the flocking to create a frame around the sentiment. I then added behind a layer of red metallic cardstock and another layer of the silver pearlescent cardstock to ggive the project a more finished, fancy look. I then adhered everything together using my most favorite scor-tape and for the final touch added the green flowers. Look at all that sparkle!
Scrapsalot carries most of these products, so check them out, and while you are there, here is a code for a 10% discount on your order! Just enter JUDY10 at checkout for your discount! And if you don't see it in the shop, email Debra and she can help you with whatever you are looking for!

I Really Love This Stamp Set!

Hi Everyone! Do you ever find yourself drawn to play with a particular stamp set? Maybe there is something about the image or the sentiment that for whatever reason just is speaking to you at a certain moment? I wanted to create something for you all that showed off how gorgeous the Gina K.Foil Mates Backgrounds are to work with and add so much elegance and interest to a card. And I was totally drawn to this Waffle Flower Magnolia Stamp Set for this image to go so well with my idea for showing you how the background element would work.

I used my Misti to stamp out the flower image using Momento Tuxedo Black Ink.I colored up the image using my Copics. I then took my Foil Mate Background panel and used some lilac foil and ran it through my laminator to create the amazing background layer. I mounted the main panel on to some black cardstock, then mounted the Foil Mate Background onto black cardstock as well and adhered the two pieces together. I then used an older die I have and used some more black cardstock with some of the scor-tape sheet to cut the sentiment out and already have it in a sticker form to just attach to my card front. I adhered everything with scor-tape.Honestly I am somewhat addicted to scor-tape!
Scrapsalot carries most of these products, so check them out, and while you are there, here is a code for a 10% discount on your order! Just enter JUDY10 at checkout for your discount! And if you don't see it in the shop, email Debra and she can help you with whatever you are looking for!

Thank You So Much!!!!!

Hi Everyone! Thank you all so much for the honor of getting to play with you all as a Guest Design Team Member at 7 Kids Crafts this week! I have had a blast!
So I have one more project for all of you. I am bringing you another fun card using Hello Bluebird.
For this project I am playing with the Unicorn Tales Set as well as with the After The Rain Die Set. Earlier this week I had used this stamp set on a CAS card, and I used this die set with the Maverick Stamp Set. I love the versatility of both of these sets! I used distress oxides to create the rainbow sunset background and rainbow, and cloud edges and colored the adorable unicorns with copics! In attaching the layers, some are attached with foam tape to create more layers and more visible depth to the scene. And finally I added a holographic frame, because, well holographic and unicorns...
I do hope you like this project! You can find these and other great Hello Bluebird products at 7 Kids Crafts, so definitely check them out. And thank you all for letting me join you this week!
Hugs,
Judy

Dream Higher

Hi Everyone! Today I am bringing you a sparkly card featuring Lavinia Stamps!.
To be perfectly honest, I really wanted to show you the amazing sparkle in the sky by the stars. I am afraid the photograph doesn't do it justice. There are also two mounting layers, one in purple glitter and one in silver glitter with a final black metallic layer.
For this project I have used Star Cluster for my background, Deeper Than The Ocean Sentiment and Fayllin for the fairy image. I am totally loving the Lavinia Stamps. I am afraid they may be like gummy bears for me. I will need more of these!
I have done the background with Distress Oxide Inks, and used Momento Tuxedo Black for my image, stars and sentiment. And some pixie dust for my sparkles.
I do hope you like this project! You can find lots of great Lavinia Stamps at 7 Kids Crafts, so definitely check them out. Stay tuned for more!
Hugs,
Judy
