Meow & Fur-Ever

Every once in a while you meet that Fur-Ever soul mate. In this case I think Newton certainly did! Check this out.
Look how cute and cozy these two are. This is a super cute stamp set that you can find at Scrapsalot called Newtons Sweethearts. This is just one of the three images in this adorable set. I colored them up with copics and thought a shaker would be fun. I used a circle die from my stash to cut the base layer that had the colored up image. I then used some fun foam, acetate and Scor Tape to create my shaker. I filled it with Catherine Pooler Springfield Sequin Mix.
I then used pattern paper from Doodlebug Down on the Farm 6x6 paper pad, and Lawn Fawn layering dies to create my layers. And if you shake the card around it reveals the fabulous sentiment!
Scrapsalot carries most of these amazing products in the store! Congratulations

Hi Everyone! Today I am playing with Double Or Nothing Sparkle Blends! And this project is so perfect for right now! This is great for Grads or wishing someone luck on a new adventure. So have a look at today's project.

This Sparkle Blend is such a fun blend that has even dice and playing cards in addition to so many fun shapes and sizes of red, white and black sparkly sequins and beads. I used a Congratulations Die that also has a shadow layer as well as a fun nested frame set, both from Crafters Companion as well as an older fun alpha numeric die set from Craftin Desert Divas for my number seven. I wanted a certain shade of red and a certain shade of yellow so I used my copics to create the red and yellow paper layers. Additionally I used solid white cardstock, black cardstock, blue cardstock and a holographic piece of cardstock from a 6x6 DCWV Cardstock Stack. I love how this has a slot machine, Vegas feel to it. I really love how this came together!

So have a look at today's project. This project is all about Spill The Bubble Tea from Sparkle Blends!
I am using Picture Perfect 6x6 Paper Pad from Queen and Company as well as their Shaped Shaker Kit for my circle shaker. I am also using from Mama Elephant Boba Tea Stamp Set and Die Set for my images and sentiment. I have stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black both my sentiment and images and I have colored up my cuties with Copics. I have used Scor-Tape to attach everything.

Thank You Dad...

Hi Everyone! Today I am sharing a fun and mostly monochromatic Father's Day card with you! So let's get started. For this project I am using an A2 size card base cut and scored from CutCardstock Neenah Classic Crest Card Stock in Solar White 110# Cover.  I then cut a card layer measuring 4 inches by 5 1/4 inches out of Basis Grey Cardstock. I then used my Misti along with a fabulous older stamp set from Altenew called Best Dad. I used some of the imagery from this set and stamped it on to the Basis Grey with Black Jack Ink from Catherine Pooler. I really love this color with this cardstock as you can still see the images but in terms of the card it is still subtle.
Next I used a square die to cut my window.
I then used Scor-Tape on the back side of the Basis Grey to adhere my acetate layer.
Next, using foam tape I created my shaker space.
I then used a wonderful shaker mix from Sparkle Blends called Shooting Star and filled my shaker space. I then attached my Basis Grey to my card base. I then stamped out the book image from the set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it in with Copics, and finally, stamped the sentiment on to Pop Tone Black Licorice Card Stock with Versamark Watermark Ink and then used Zing Embossing Powder in Opaque White. I heatset the sentiment then trimmed it down. I then popped it up with Foam Tape and there you have it.

I really love how this turned out. I do hope you like this project and as always, I can't wait to see what you create!

Hugs,

Judy

I Wish You Were Here

Hi Everyone! Today I am playing with Iced Coffee Sparkle Blends! And this project is so perfect for right now! And Sparkle Blends is a sponsor for the Coffee Lovers Spring Summer Blog Hop! This is truly an amazing blog hop so check it out.
http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2020/05/2020-spring-summer-coffee-lovers-blog-hop/
So take a look at my project. This project has several different elements to it. First, for my shaker I used a die set from Stamp Simply called A Cup Of Java. This die set is a perfect size for creating shakers. And the sentiment comes from the matching stamp set with the same name. Now I wanted to give the feel of a tall iced coffee, which is perfect with this Iced Coffee Sparkle Blend. So what I did was create my shaker with acetate on both sides so that the shaker felt more like a tall clearish glass.
For my background scene I used Sunflower Field Color Layering Scape from Hero Arts with Catherine Pooler Inks in Grass Skirt, Lime Rickey, Rockin Red, Tiki Torch, and Limoncello. And for my sky I used Distress Oxides in Broken China and Mustard Seed and applied with blending brushes.

I Don't Know What I'd Do...

It's Wednesday and who couldn't use a bit of a coffee pick me up!
And it is also that wonderful time of year for the Coffee Lovers Spring Summer Blog Hop! This is truly an amazing blog hop so check it out. And Scrapsalot has a lot of fabulous caffeinated fun that totally works for this blog hop!
http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2020/05/2020-spring-summer-coffee-lovers-blog-hop/
Check this out.
This is a great project full of fun elements. The background is created by first using a background stamp called Mug Life Background. For this I used my Misti and stamped this image first in Memento Tuxedo Black and then again in Versamark Watermark Ink. I then coated this with Holographic Embossing Powder from Ranger and then heat set the embossing powder. Next, using blending brushes I then used Mustard Seed Distress Oxide and Broken China Distress Oxide. And then used a baby wipe to wipe the excess ink off and allow the Holographic Embossing to show through.
I then used an image stamp and sentiment from a second set called Mug Life. This is a different set from the background stamp, but both are from Ink Road and you can get them through Scrapsalot. I again stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I then added just a touch of color with Copics in E00, G000, and Y00. I also used my favorite Scor Tape as well to adhere my many layers.
Scrapsalot carries most of these amazing products in the store! You can also check with Debra for availability on specific products,  and while you are there, here is a code for a 10% discount on your order! Just enter JUDY10 at checkout for your discount! Ready For Some Monkey Business!

Today I am monkeying around with Sparkle Blends Monkey Business! I really adore this blend and am really happy with how this turned out. Check it out!

For this project I used a set from Heffy Doodle called  Chimply The Best for my monkeys, vines, bananas and sentiment. I used Momento Tuxedo Black to stamp my images and sentiment. I then colored up my images with Copics. I used a patterned paper from Doodlebug from their At The Zoo 6x6 paper collection and Catherine Pooler Ink in It's A Boy to create this fun scene.
For my shaker element I used a combination of circle dies to create my different parts and pieces.

How About An Elegant Monochrome Thank You!

Hi Everyone! So today I am a little out of my comfort zone. I am all about colors and sparkle and rainbows. But today I bring you a seriously elegant monochrome Thank You Card!
For this project I am using an A2 size card base cut and scored from CutCardstock Neenah Classic Crest Card Stock in Solar White 110# Cover. I used Pop Tone Black Licorice Card Stock with a cover plate die from Catherine Pooler called Garden's Edge Die and ran it through my die cutting machine. I then stamped the flowers onto a seperate piece of CutCardstock Neenah Classic Crest Card Stock in Solar White 110# Cover using VersaFine Onyx Black Pigment Ink For Fine Details and then coated with Gina K.Fine Detail Clear Embossing Powder and then used my heat tool to melt the embossing powder.
I then used the matching die and cut out the flower piece with my die cut machine. I then followed the same procedure for my sentiment, but I stamped directly on to my card base.
I then attached these layers using Scor-Tape. And for a final touch I added some pearls to a few spots, just for that added touch.
I do hope you have enjoyed this project and can't wait to see what you create!

Hugs,

Judy

Gina NEXT STOP!!!

So for your sparkly enjoyment I have created two projects for you with three of the new Sparkle Blends! The first of these projects features two of the new mixes called Orange Creamsicle and So Matcha Fun. For this project I used a set from Hero Arts called Color Layering Waves and Catherine Pooler Inks to create my ocean along with Distress Oxide Inks and blending brushes to create my sunset. For my adorable Boba buddies and their beverages I used an adorable new stamp and die set from Mama Elephant called Boba Tea. I colored up these cuties with Copics. And how adorable is this!
For my second project I am featuring Shake The Rainbow. If ever there was a Sparkle Blend made for me this would have to be it! So for this amazing blend I felt it only right to match it up with Unicorn Tales Stamp Set and After The Rain Die Set from Hellp Bluebird. For this I used a mixture of Catherine Pooler Inks and Copics to create the different elements of this card. And I wanted to allow my shaker elements to have a bigger space to play so some of my card elements are contained in the shaker space and the rest are in front, giving this more dimension.
So what do you think of these projects? I really love how they came out and really appreciate the opportunity to Guest DT!
Thank You for stopping by and please leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
Now on to your next stop which is Gina!
