Let's Talk Packaging

Depending on where you are it may be craft fair season. Here in New Mexico the fall is a huge time for craft fairs but also there are a lot of outside summer fairs. And so today I am bringing you a couple of packaging thoughts. I make cards. So one thing I like to do is sell a few cards together in a bundle. I am using my Craft Fantastic medium round glass and medium round glass tray, Craft Fantastic Image Sheet, Glaze and Glue, and Sticky Dots. Take a look.

Another possibility, many people are using Mason Jars and this is another thought for you.Take a look.

I have used an image from one of the image sheets. But you can either go with your logo or some art that identifies your business, or you can go with an image that treats the piece as both packaging and an extra item included with your product.

What other ways are you all using Craft Fantastic in your packaging? We'd love to see!

Hugs,

Judy

Today I am using a super simple masking technique! Stamp the image on a stack of post it notes and cut out the image. As you stamp backwards into the picture, keep adding masks as you go! Oh, and while I am not big on cleaning my stamps, you will want to at least stamp off between layers.

Some Saturday Fun With The June Kit!

So for some Saturday crafting  I am bringing you a an easy layered card The papers and stamp set you see is included in the June kit. Check it out!

So in todays lesson to be learned, when your child borrows your stamping tool for example your misti or other similar tool, don't assume she has cleaned it from any ink that may transfer on to the next project. Yup, black ink is now on my yellow stamp pad. I am working on cleaning it, and of course did flip my paper and restamp after cleaning my stamping tool. Oh well, I would much rather the lesson be learned and she love to create!

A CAS card with the June Kit! And more on that Giveaway!

Happy Friday! So for today I am bringing you a somewhat CAS card (clean and simple), but that is still fun and perky and has a lot of energy. Everything you see is included in the June kit. Check it out!

Now I tend to save scraps when I create. I hate to waste anything. So for example the balloons in the upper right corner were cut with scraps from earlier in the week as is the gummy bear strip down the side of the card. I also had a little of the baker's twine left and used that for the balloon strings. And the cupcake is actually from the die cut pack and is on acetate. I actually adhered it to a piece of scrap white cardstock and fussycut it so the colors would stand out better for this particular project. And as you can see I did round the corners of the gummy bear paper to match the rounded corners of the glitter frame. I am a bit of a perfectionist. However I did "eyeball it". My corner rounder decided to play hide and seek with me and is currently MIA. I am sure it will turn up, but at the moment, well...
