It's Time For Challenge #117 at Scrapy Land and it is Anything Goes!

Who is up for an Anything Goes Challenge? You need to use any brand of die that Scrapy Land sells. There are TWO WINNERS for each challenge. One will be a random winner and the other is chosen by the Design Team. Each winner will receive a generous $10 gift certificate to Scrapy Land.

Scrapy Land carries over 55 brands of dies, so chances are you have a few of the brands in your stash! You can see all the brands carried under the Products category.
Please link back to this Scrapy Land Challenge and include the link to this challenge on your blog post. It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project. (Sometimes we can't tell if an item is a die cut or chipboard.)

And without further ado, here is my project for this challenge!
For this project I used Lawn Fawn Blue Skies Stamps, Lawn Fawn Blue Skies Dies, Lawn Fawn Stitched Scallop Frame Dies, and Lawn Fawn Clouds Dies. I colored the hot air balloons with Copics and used Distress Oxide Inks to color the cloud edges, and popped up the hot air balloons with foam tape and some patterned paper from Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow Petite Paper Pack.

Now it's your turn!  You have until July 15th to upload your project to the Scrapy Land Challenge.  We love seeing everything from CAS, layouts, mixed media, planners, and anything else you can think of as long as it includes at least one brand of die that Scrapy Land sells.

Ahhh Beach!

Hello Friends!
Today I am playing with some super fun products from Scrapsalot. I could really use some beach time, but for today this will have to do!

For this fun beach scene I used Hero Arts Fancy Die Set for the beach overlay and stamped the ocean water using a three step stamp also from Hero Arts. I used Distress Oxide inks for the water as well as for the sand and sky. Finally, I used Score Tape to put everything together, and I just love how this turned out!
I would love to hear what you think about this project! Please leave me a comment and let me know!
And definitely check out Scrapsalot,  and while you are there, here is a code for a 10% discount on your order! Just enter JUDY10 at checkout for your discount!

Grant Me The Serenity and More Foiling Fun!

Hi Everyone! Here is a fun project that features one of the wonderful digi sets from Polka Dot orchard called Grant Me The Serenity.  Now I am  on a total foiling kick and what I really love about this project is that you can really put together something pretty that is really rather quick and easy. I have used a background image from the set and printed it from my laser printer onto pink cardstock. I then used the coffee cup and sentiment images which are also from the same set and did the layout in Microsoft Word and then also printed out on white xpressit cardstock from my laser printer. I then did a little shading using Copics on the coffee cup and on the flowers that are on the coffee cup. I then ran both the background and the sentiment and coffee cup image through my laminator and used Gina K. Fancy Foils in Passionate Pink by Thermoweb. I then set up my layers and used some Scor-Tape to attach everything. I really love how this came out!

You can find this digi set and many more at Polka Dot Orchard which you can find here:  https://www.etsy.com/shop/PolkaDotOrchard and for foils and scor-tape and so many other great things check out Scrapsalot here: http://www.scrapsalottampa.net/. Unicorns, Sparkles and a Discount, Oh My!

Hello Friends!
Today I am playing with some amazing products from Scrapsalot. I have tried to give you a feel of how amazingly sparlky this project is and  have photographed using different outdoor light so that you can hopefully get at least a little feel for the sparkle.

I have to admit that I am totally loving foiling on projects! And as you can see today is no exception. I am using Rainbow Shattered Glass Deco Foil Transfer Sheets from Thermoweb, and I am totally loving the effect! I used it as my main background layer along with Inkon3 Magical Unicorn Stamp Set.  I stamped out the unicorn and the sentiment with the Midnight Catherine Pooler Ink Pad.  I colored up the image with Copics. I used Score Tape to put everything together, and I just love how this turned out!
I would love to hear what you think about this project! Please leave me a comment and let me know!
