It's Time For Challenge #126 at Scrapy Land and it is Anything Goes!

Who is up for an Anything Goes Challenge? You need to use any brand of die that Scrapy Land sells. There will be ONE winner and they will receive a $15 Gift Certificate to go shopping at Scrapy Land.

Scrapy Land carries over 55 brands of dies, so chances are you have a few of the brands in your stash! You can see all the brands carried under the Products category.
Please link back to this Scrapy Land Challenge and include the link to this challenge on your blog post. It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project. (Sometimes we can't tell if an item is a die cut or chipboard.)

And without further ado, here is my project for this challenge!

For this project I used an amazing die from Crafters Companion which Scrapy Land is now carrying! Yay!!!! I used copic markers to color in the flowers and leaves. I then used basic black cardstock and a patterned red cardstock to cut my layers and there you have it.

 

Now it's your turn!  You have until December 1st to upload your project to the Scrapy Land Challenge.  We love seeing everything from CAS, layouts, mixed media, planners, and anything else you can think of as long as it includes at least one brand of die that Scrapy Land sells.

I Really Love This Stamp Set!

Hi Everyone! Do you ever find yourself drawn to play with a particular stamp set? Maybe there is something about the image or the sentiment that for whatever reason just is speaking to you at a certain moment? I wanted to create something for you all that showed off how gorgeous the Gina K.Foil Mates Backgrounds are to work with and add so much elegance and interest to a card. And I was totally drawn to this Waffle Flower Magnolia Stamp Set for this image to go so well with my idea for showing you how the background element would work.

I used my Misti to stamp out the flower image using Momento Tuxedo Black Ink.I colored up the image using my Copics. I then took my Foil Mate Background panel and used some lilac foil and ran it through my laminator to create the amazing background layer. I mounted the main panel on to some black cardstock, then mounted the Foil Mate Background onto black cardstock as well and adhered the two pieces together. I then used an older die I have and used some more black cardstock with some of the scor-tape sheet to cut the sentiment out and already have it in a sticker form to just attach to my card front. I adhered everything with scor-tape.Honestly I am somewhat addicted to scor-tape!
