Autumn Leaves & Pumpkins Please

Hi Everyone! Tomorrow is the first day of Fall! I really cannot believe it! But I am trying to embrace the start of Fall with these Cuties. For this project I have combined two different stamp sets from Clearly Besotted called Ring Around Autumn and Scene It Around with Sparkle Blends Autumn Harvest Mix! I have used my Copics to color up the scene as well as the little fall characters. I then fussy cut the fun little characters. I have also used a 6x6 paper pad from Queen and Company called Halloween Hoopla, as well as dies from Stamps of Life and circle dies and foam shaker circle shapes and dies from Queen and Company. I have attached everything together with Scor Tape.

I adore all the fun elements in this shaker mi! They give so much versatility for all kinds of fall projects. You can see all the wonderful elements here!

Stop and smell the Rose'

Hi Everyone! Is is just me or does spending an afternoon on a lush vineyard sound just about perfect? So check this out. I am playing with this fabulous set from Hero Arts called Vineyard Heroscapes. To be completely honest I seriously love the Hero Arts Scene Building stamp sets. I will be doing a ton of playing with these.
For these layering stamps I do personally love using my MISTI, which I find make it really easy to line up the images. All the stamped elements you see are from this amazing set, and there were even more stamps in it that I didn't use on this project. I used Catherine Pooler Inks in the following colors to create my scene: Garden Party, Lime Rickey, Grass Skirt, Sangria, Stone Blue, Juniper Mist, and Hot Tub. I did also use a blending brush with Stone Blue to add the base of the sky. I then adhered it to a white cardstock card base. I attached everything with my favorite scor tape.

Wishing You A Very Merry Christmas

Happy Monday Sparkle Blends Fans! As we impatiently wait for the new September Release I am working on some Christmas cards. It is never too early to get moving on those. So check this out!
I am using Old St. Nick to create this adorable shaker card. I am using a kit from Queen and Company for my project. I adore how this Special Delivery kit makes such a fun scene card. The dies in this set are perfect for making this super cute truck with a shaker spot designed right in. I have also used a stencil from My Favorite Things called, appropriately, Cloud, to mak my cloud background for my holiday truck to drive toward.

I Believe In You

Hi Everyone! Is is just me that is not ready for summer to be over? I really miss the beach. So I thought I would play at the beach, at least in my craftroom. So check this out. I am playing with this fabulous set from Hero Arts called Beach Heroscapes. To be completely honest I am totally hooked on the Hero Arts Scene Building stamp sets. I will be doing a ton of playing with these.
I did use my MISTI which I found made it really easy to line up the images as I did my stamping. I used Catherine Pooler Inks in the following colors to create my scene: Juniper Mist, Over Coffee, Sandcastle, Stone Blue, It's A Boy and Something Borrowed. I then layered my card surface up with some pearlescent cardstock and then adhered it to a white cardstock card base. I attached everything with my favorite scor tape.

Party Like A Pineapple

Hey Everyone! Today I am thinking that I really need to relax this weekend and what better way than with pineapples and sparkle! Check this fun project out!
This mix is called Pineapple Garden and look how cute! I have actually used a Stamp Set from Stamps of Life called pineapple2stamp and a matching die set called pineapple2stamp dies and a 6x6 paper pad called Shine that coordinates really well with the mix and the stamp set!
I used acetate to create my shaker window and foam tape to create the sparkle pouch. I did use my Copics to color up my pineapple, and some Sizzix circle dies as well. Now it does appear that I had already used all the actual pineapples from my mix already, but I think all the rest of the pieces are in there!

Let's Do Breakfast (or Lunch)

Hi Everyone! Today I am bringing you this egg-citing project! So let's get started! To begin with I have used Classic Crest Solar White 110 pound cardstock for my card base. I have cut my card base to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and then scored and folded at 4 1/4" to create the card base.
Next from this really fabulous paper pack from CutCardstock called Premium 6x6 Assorted Dots And Stripes Discount Cardstock Paper-90 Sheets I am using one of the Dots Pattern Papers and cutting that to 5 1/4" by 4" for my matting layer.
I am then using one of the stripes papers from the same pack and using a 4" circle die to cut a "plate" for my eggs and bacon. I am using a Stamp Set and a Die Set from Stamps of Life called bacon&eggs2stamp and die-bacon. I then trimmed down the left side of the circle so that it appears that the edge of the plate is not pictured I then stamped my sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and my MISTI stamping tool.
Next I am stamping onto another piece of the Classic Crest Solar White 110 pound cardstock my bacon and my eggs using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and my MISTI stamping tool.
I then colored up my eggs and bacon and used coordinating dies to cut them out. I have used the following Copic colors: Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17, B0000, E08, E50, and E97.
I used Scor Tape to adhere the layers as well as adhere the panel to the card base.
I really love how this turned out. I do hope you like this project and as always, I can't wait to see what you create!

Hugs,

Judy
