Heartfelt Creations Easter Card With Flowering Dogwood Collection

Today I am bringing to you an Easter Card Featuring products from the Flowering Dogwood Collection.

My background layer is cut from the Flowering Dogwood Paper Collection and is 6 inches by 6 inches, as is the card base. Next, using one of the 6 inch by 6 inch panels, I trimmed it down to 5.5 inches by 5.5 inches to create the background layer.

I then cut two border edges from the peach colored paper from the paper pad using Ornate Borders and Pockets die set and layered them on to the card.  I then cut the fancy oval frame out of green cardstock from the same collection, and a pink oval circle from the collection using Eyelet Oval die set and adhered to the card front.

Now it is time to stamp the floral arch and the two doves from the Flowering Dogwood & Doves Cling Stamp Set using Xpress It paper and black Archival Ink. I colored the inages using Copic markers G82, G85, R20, YR02, and YR04, then cut out the images using the matching Flowering Dogwood & Doves Die Set .

Finally I cut out the Easter Blessings from the paper collection, used Copic marker G85 around the edges and adhered both the doves and the sentiment using foam squares to give a bit of dimensionality. I hope you have enjoyed this project!

Hugs,
Judy

Heartfelt Creations Especially For You Card

Today I am bringing you this adorable Especially For You Card. One of the things I love about Heartfelt Creations collections is that you can mix and match parts and pieces. Today I have done just that.

To begin, I selected a background from the Sugar Hollow Paper Collection. This is set up to create an A2 size card. I cut out the center and then glued this mat on to a pink background sheet from the Flowering Dogwood Paper Collection.

Next, I stamped a teacup from the Coffee Talk Cling Stamp Set and one of the fairies from the Wildwood Cottage Darlings Cling Stamp Set on xpress it paper using black archival ink. I then colored the teacup using Copic markers BG11, BG13, V20, V22, and V25, and colored the fairy using Copic markers E000, E00 and E01 for the skin, Y11, Y15 and Y17 for the hair, RV52 and RV55for the dress and wings, BG13 for the butterfly and YG21 for the grass. I then cut out the teacup using Coffee Talk Die Set and the fairy using Wildwood Cottage Darlings Die Set.

The final step was finding a sentiment for this little card, which I found in the Flowering Dogwood Paper Collection. I just cut it out of the paper pad, trimmed and edged in Copic marker V25, and attached it to the card front.

I do hope that you have enjoyed this project and I do encourage you to try mixing and matching!

Hugs,

Judy

Heartfelt Creations Shadowbox

Today I am bringing you an adorable project! I created this shadowbox featuring elements from the Flowering Dogwood Collection and the Wildwood Cottage Collection.

At the base is a wood canvas that I got in the wood aisle at Michaels Arts and Crafts. It measures 8 inches by 10 inches. The back panel glued in is from the Flowering Dogwood Paper Collection. Also, I then fussycut from one of the papers in that collection the image for the upper right corner and used a double layer of foam adhesive to create a bit of depth. The green grass as well as the paper used for the border around the outside of the frame both came from the same Flowering Dogwood Paper Collection.

The papers used for the cottage were cut out from Wildwood Cottage Paper Collection using the die set from the same collection Wildwood Cottage Die. The windows and doors were all stamped using black archival ink on xpress it paper using Wildwood Cottage Cling Stamp Set and cut out using Wildwood Cottage Die. The path was stamped using Wildwood Cottage Accents Cling Stamp Set and cut out using Wildwood Cottage Accents Die. These pieces were all colored using Copics, and adhered using foam squares to add depth.

The two fairies were stamped using black archival ink on xpress it paper using the stamp set Wildwood Cottage Darlings Cling Stamp Set, colored in with Copic markers, and cut out using Wildwood Cottage Darlings Die. Finally, the borders on the outside of the frame were all cut using Fleur Borders And Pockets Die Set.

I do hope that you have enjoyed this project! See you soon!

Hugs,

Judy
