Happy Halloween!!!!!!

Happy Halloween Everyone!!!!!

I am playing with Sparkle Blends Jack O Lantern. This is really THE perfect blend for today no matter how you are celebrating. And it is perfect for all those great Halloween pictures too!!!!

For this project I used not only our Sparkle Blends but also this fun set from Clearly Besotted called Creepy Corners. I did use my MISTI with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp my images and my Copic markers to color this up. I then did use acetate and 1 inch wide scor tape to create my infinity shaker and there you have it!

I really love how perfect this blend is for all things Halloween and really all things fall, and the Infinity Shaker really lets the light bounce through all the sparkles.

So head over to the Sparkle Blends Shop. Grab your favorites from the October release. Ok, they are ALL fabulous so maybe grab them all while they are still available! And as always, take a look on the Doodles Paper Playground blogFacebook page and in the Sparkle Blends Fan Club on Facebook to see all the fun things going on!
I do hope you enjoy this projects and can't wait to see what you create!

Friends Don't Give Friends Fruitcake

Hi Everyone! For your Wednesday pleasure, Friends Don't Give Friends Fruitcake!

I am playing with Sparkle Blends Merry and Bright. And what I love about this blend is that it is a non traditional blend for the holidays. I will definitely need more of this one to be sure, because it works so well for so many different ideas around the holidays.

With this I have used All Bundled Up 6x6 paper pad along with dies from North Pole Kit all from Queen and Company, along with some circle dies from The Stamps Of Life to present to you this fun holiday card!

So head over to the Sparkle Blends Shop. Grab your favorites from the October release. Ok, they are ALL fabulous so maybe grab them all while they are still available! Welcome to the CutCardstock Happy Halloween Blog Hop! We are so excited you are here. So grab a cup of spiced cider and hop along with us! Oh and before you hop, there is a $40 gift card up for grabs for CutCardstock. How awesome is that! The winner will be randomly selected via number generator and announced on Monday, October 19th on the CutCardstock Blog and Facebook page. Here are the hop stops!

For my project today I am bringing you this super cute Halloween Treat Box! I am using a bas die from The Stamps Of Life called handlebox die. I have used Pop-Tone Black Licorice Cardstock for my box base. I have then used a purple patterned paper from a fabulous cardstock pack called Premium 6x6 Assorted Dots And Stripes Discount Card Stock Paper. Then I stamped out these cute monsters and die cut them from another stamp and die set from The Stamps Of Life called monsters4celebrations. To keep this super easy to mass produce, I stamped my monsters on Pop-Tone Orange Fizz Cardstock, Bonsai Green Canvas Textured Cardstock, and Pop-Tone Grape Jelly Cardstock, and then die cut the monsters. I used Scor Tape to attach my monsters and my cardstock layers. And as a final touch, I added some washi tape from Doodlebug. Super cute and easy!

I do hope you like this project. Super quick and easy to make! So next head on over to the very talente Maureen.

I can't wait to see what you create!

Ever Wonder How To Create A Wreath Card?

Have you ever wondered how to create a wreath card? There are some wonderful wreath builder products out there, but I don't have one of those, and maybe you don't either? Let me show you how!

First I am using Royal Sundance Felt Brilliant White Cardstock for my card base. I have cut my card base to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and then scored and folded at 4 1/4" to create the card base. Then I went into my stash and found a circle die that I am using to draw a circle just with a pencil. What is really helpful about this is you can position your circle precisely so that when your card is finished, your wreath will be in the position you want.

I then used a sentiment stamp from Clearly Besotted called Ring Around Autumn and stamped it on my card base with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
From this point, you can then work your way around the circle. If you are stamping you can use this as a reference to stamp your images. But for this project I decided to use some of the gorgeous CutCardstock cardstocks with fall leaf dies to create my wreath. I am using the following cardstocks: Pop-Tone Orange Fizz CardstockStardream Metallic Gold Cardstock, Pop-Tone Wild Cherry Cardstock, Bonsai Green Canvas Textured Cardstock, Stardream Metallic Punch Cardstock

If you take a look, you can see the way the light catches on the metallic cardstocks, and you can also see the textures and that gives this so much depth.
I really love how this turned out. I do hope you like this project and as always, I can't wait to see what you create!

Judy

There Is Just Something About A Classic Happy Birthday

Hi Everyone! Today I am bringing you this classic, elegant birthday card project! So let's get started! To begin with I have used Royal Sundance Felt Brilliant White Cardstock for my card base. I have cut my card base to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and then scored and folded at 4 1/4" to create the card base.

Then using Pop-Tone Orange Fizz Cardstock and Stardream Metallic Gold Cardstock, I cut two beautiful decorative layers with a die set from Crafters Companion, and then using the same Royal Sundance Felt Brilliant White Cardstock I stamped this beautiful script happy birthday from a fabulous sentiment set from LDRS Creative, using StazOn Black Licorice and my MISTI, then using Gina K Embossing Powder Fine Detail Clear, I heat set the happy birthday, and then using a coordinating die from the same die set, I cut out the sentiment.

I used Scor Tape to adhere all my parts and pieces.

I really love how this turned out. I do hope you like this project and as always, I can't wait to see what you create!

Hugs,

Judy
