No Probllama with Scrapsalot!

Hello Friends!
Finally got a little time to play this weekend with some fun products from Scrapsalot. So let me give you a little bit about this project. The first thing I decided to do was o play with the Tim Holtz Hexagon Shape Shifter Stencil with Distress Oxides. I did use a makeup brush to apply the Distress Oxides and was actually pretty happy with the coverage. I have been hearing a lot about people using brushes for application and had to give it a try. The way the shape shifter dies work I did Wilted Violet, Lucky Clover and Ripe Persimmon then shifted my stencil and went back and applied Blueprint Sketch, Mustard Seed and then Candied Apple.
Then I decided to use the No Probllama Stamp Set by Honey Bee Stamps. I stamped out the llama, the cactus, the blanket for the llama and the sombrero for the llama, as well as the sentiment with the Midnight Catherine Pooler Ink Pad. Now I decided to try using my Catherine Pooler Inks to use a watercoloring technique. I used a watercolor brush and put a little of the inks from the ink pads onto an acrylic block and used some water to create watercolors. I used Coral Cabana, Grape Crush, All That Jazz, Tiara and Grass Skirt.
I did fussy cut, which is definitely not my strong point, but it got me where I was heading, and then used Score Tape to put everything together.
I would love to hear what you think about this project! Please leave me a comment and let me know!
And definitely check out Scrapsalot,  and while you are there, here is a code for a 10% discount on your order! Just enter JUDY10 at checkout for your discount!
More fun to follow!!!!

Who Is Ready For The Next Challenge At Scrapy Land?

Hi Everyone! I am so excited and honored to have been chosen to be a part of Scrapy Land Challenges and it is always an Anything Goes Challenge! You need to use any brand of die that Scrapy Land sells. There are TWO WINNERS for each challenge. One will be a random winner and the other is chosen by the Design Team. Each winner will receive a generous $10 gift certificate to Scrapy Land.

Scrapy Land carries over 55 brands of dies, so chances are you have a few of the brands in your stash! You can see all the brands carried under the Products category.
Please link back to this Scrapy Land Challenge and include the link to this challenge on your blog post. It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project. (Sometimes we can't tell if an item is a die cut or chipboard.)

And without further ado, here is my project for this challenge!

For this project I have used the Lawn Fawn Coaster Critters Stamps and Lawn Fawn Coaster Critters Dies and these cuties were stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored up with Copic markers. The picture frame actually comes from Queen & Co. Shaker Dies Set called Say Cheese. The two balloons are from a fabulous sequin mix from Sparkle Blends, and I do believe it came from the We're Turning One pack, if I am remembering correctly. The green ribbon comes from Stamps Of Life, and the flowers are also from Queen & Co. as is the patterned paper.

Now it's your turn!  You have until April 28 to upload your project to the Scrapy Land Challenge.  We love seeing everything from CAS, layouts, mixed media, planners, and anything else you can think of as long as it includes at least one brand of die that Scrapy Land sells.

Hugs,

It's Time For A New Challenge With Scrapy Land!

Hi Everyone! I am so excited to be a part of Scrapy Land Challenges and it is an Anything Goes Challenge! You need to use any brand of die that Scrapy Land sells. There are TWO WINNERS for each challenge. One will be a random winner and the other is chosen by the Design Team. Each winner will receive a generous $10 gift certificate to Scrapy Land.

Please link back to this Scrapy Land Challenge and include the link to this challenge on your blog post. It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project. (Sometimes we can't tell if an item is a die cut or chipboard.)

So check it out and here is my first project! Here is the outside of the card.
For the die cut circles on the front of the card I used Stamps of Life Stitched Circles dies and a sentiment from bunnyfriend4bear stamp set also from Stamps of Life.

The real magic is on the inside of the card! For this project i used Karen Burniston 1040 Coffee Cup Pop Up Dies as well as Karen Burniston 1041 Coffee Charms dies for the pop up coffee cup and for the coffee cup in the bunny's paws. The circle dies on the coffee cup are also from the Pop Up Coffee Cup set. I used the same circle dies and another sentiment from the same sets used on the front of the card for the inside sentiment. The bunny was created using the bunnyfriend4bear die set also from Stamps of Life. The cute little bunny in the circle came from Lawn Fawn Coaster Critters stamp set.

Now it's your turn!  You have until April 14 to upload your project to the Scrapy Land Challenge.  We love seeing everything from CAS, layouts, mixed media, planners, and anything else you can think of as long as it includes at least one brand of die that Scrapy Land sells.
