Pawsome

Hi Everyone! Today I am bringing you a super cute Graduation card! Let's get started. For this card I am using a fabulous stamp and die set from Catherine Pooler called Peeking Pets, as well as a cover plate die called Garden's Edge and a sentiment die called Pawsome Word. I am also using Stardream Metallic Gold Cardstock, Stardream Metallic Silver Cardstock, Pop Tone Black Licorice Card Stock, Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock 110# and Scor Tape.
I am starting out with a 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 card base in Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. Next, something I find to be super helpful for intricate coverplates and sentiments is to place Scor Tape on the back of the cardstock before running it through the diecutting machine. By doing this I make my intricate die cuts into stickers and find this much easier to work with. Since I am using Stardream Metallic Gold Cardstock to cut two Garden's Edge die panels, I have placed the Scor Tape on the back. I have also done the same with Pop Tone Black Licorice Card Stock as I am using this to cut out my sentiment from Pawsome Word. I then run both through my die cutting machine.

Next, I am using my Misti Stamping Platform with my stamp set and stamping with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. I am then using the matching dies and running this through my die cutting machine.
I then add a touch of color to my puppies with Copics.
Now it is time to assemble my project. I take my two Gold Garden's Edge pieces and attach them to my Stardream Metallic Silver Cardstock and then use a scissor to cut them out.
I then add some Scor Tape to the back of my die cut puppies as well as the little graduation caps and the two Silver Cardstock pieces. I then place my pups onto the white cardstock, then add the Silver and Gold pieces. I then add my sentiment and finally the graduation caps.
I love how the Metallic Gold and Metallic Silver Cardstock definitely give a bit of sparkle and add an extra bit of interest to an already fun card.

I really love how this came out!
Please let me know what you think of this project! And as always, i can't wait to see what you create!

Hugs,

Judy
