Have you ever wondered how to create a wreath card? There are some wonderful wreath builder products out there, but I don't have one of those, and maybe you don't either? Let me show you how!
First I am using Royal Sundance Felt Brilliant White Cardstock for my card base. I have cut my card base to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and then scored and folded at 4 1/4" to create the card base. Then I went into my stash and found a circle die that I am using to draw a circle just with a pencil. What is really helpful about this is you can position your circle precisely so that when your card is finished, your wreath will be in the position you want.
I then used a sentiment stamp from Clearly Besotted called Ring Around Autumn and stamped it on my card base with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
From this point, you can then work your way around the circle. If you are stamping you can use this as a reference to stamp your images. But for this project I decided to use some of the gorgeous CutCardstock cardstocks with fall leaf dies to create my wreath. I am using the following cardstocks:
Pop-Tone Orange Fizz Cardstock,
Stardream Metallic Gold Cardstock,
Pop-Tone Wild Cherry Cardstock,
Bonsai Green Canvas Textured Cardstock,
Stardream Metallic Punch Cardstock.
If you take a look, you can see the way the light catches on the metallic cardstocks, and you can also see the textures and that gives this so much depth.
I really love how this turned out. I do hope you like this project and as always, I can't wait to see what you create!
Hugs,
Judy
