And if not, there will be the complete hop list below so you can catch any stops you may have missed. We are bringing you lots of inspiration for DIY Weddings. And of course there is a prize up for grabs! To be eligible for a $40 gift card to CutCardstock, you must comment at each stop along the hop or upload a project that includes a product from CutCardStock to the CutCardstock blogpost. The Winner will be randomly selected via number generator and announced on Monday, May 10th on the CutCardstock Blog and CutCardstock Facebook Page
For my project I am sharing with you easy DIY Wedding Invitations. This is an elegant invite that you can do fairly easily and can be mass produced. So let's get started.
I am using CutCardstock Neenah Classic Crest Card Stock in Solar White 110# Cover. Now I must say that this cardstock has impressed me so much that it has become my go to for card bases. It is really sturdy and is able to go through my laser printer, although I do the individual paper feed tray so that it has a flat path. I have cut my cardstock down to create an A2 size card base (4 1/4 x 5 1/2). I then have used the Trellis Cover Plate Die from Catherine Pooler and used another piece of the Neenah cardstock and ran it through my die cutting machine. I then added adhesive and adhered this to my card base.
Next, using Happy Butterflies Stamp set from Catherine Pooler I used my Misti and Versamark Ink and stamped out the butterfly images. I then coated the images with Holographic Embossing Powder from Ranger and used my heat tool for the embossing powder.

I then ran the butterflies through my die cutting machine using the matching die set. I used foam tape to adhere the butterflies to my card base.
Now, remember I told you I could run the Neenah through my laser printer? Well I actually used Microsoft Word and typed out the You're Invited, chose which font and what size I wanted for the front of my card and ran it through the laser printer. After that I cut it to the size I wanted and then used Silver Sequins Fancy Foils from Gina K and Thermo Web and ran it through my laminator. Then used a bit more foam tape to pop up the sentiment. And here you have it. I have tried to photograph it so that you can get an idea of all the sparkle on the butteerflies and from the sentiment.

And here is that hop list. Just cliick on the stop and it will take you right there.
Your next stop is Penny Arnold. Happy Hopping and thanks for stopping by!

Hugs!

Hi Everyone!
Scrapsalot is still shipping and if you follow down the post you will even find a discount!!!!!
Is it starting to feel like Spring or even Summer where you are? It is definitely feeling Summery here!So check out what is on my desk right now...
I have gotten totally hooked on Catherine Pooler inks. Today I am playing with Lime Rickey, Orange Twist and Limoncello. I used Versamark and white embossing powder to create an emboss resist background, which I then colored with Limoncello and Orange Twist, then used a circle to die cut the base of my shaker piece. I then used a circle shaker kit to create my shaker element. I used Phoenix Sequin Mix to fill my shaker element. Next I used Lemon Zest Stamp set and Die Set to stamp my lemons and leaves and sentiments. I used Copics to add a little color to my lemons and the leaves. I also used my favorite Scor Tape as well as a bit of foam tape to add dimension to my many layers.
Scrapsalot carries most of these amazing products in the store! You can also check with Debra for availability on specific products,  and while you are there, here is a code for a 10% discount on your order! Just enter JUDY10 at checkout for your discount! Celebrate A Happy Anniversary With Sparkle!

Hi Everyone! I hope you are all staying safe and feeling well! Today I bring you aseriously sparkly Anniversary Card!
For this project I am going with a 5 inch by 7 inch card base. For my card base and one of my die cut layers I have used Pop Tone Black Licorice Card Stock and for my other layers I have used CCS Gold Glitter Cardstock.
For this project I have used a Crafters Companion Die to cut three different decorative lace layers.
I then attached these layers using Scor-Tape.
I then used a Sentiment that was produced using a laser printer and used my laminator and some Gold Foil from Thermoweb to create the gold foiled sentiment. I then attached this layer with foam tape to pop up the sentiment a bit. And there you have a very sparkly Anniversary card!

I do hope you have enjoyed this project and can't wait to see what you create!

Hugs,

Judy
