First keep in mind, foil can be applied, for the most part, by using something sticky, heat, pressure, or a combination of these. With that said, I am going to create two backgrounds, one using sticky dots and one using scor-tape.
For the first one, I am simply applying sticky glue dots in a random fashion to my cardstock
Next I am applying the foil sheet, shiny side up, on top of my sheet and
rubbing gently with my fingers to burnish the foil to the adhesive. It
will look like this...
For my second background I am actually using two different thicknesses
of scor-tape to create a pattern background. I am using the same
technique. And because I am using the scor-tape I can use different
colors of foil to create added interest. However, I am only using one
color of foil for this background.
So what do you all think?
Here are my finished projects.
