I am using Neenah Classic Crest Card Stock Solar White for my card base layer. I am cutting my cardstock to 6 inches by 8 inches. I am then scoring my cardstock at 4 inches to create a 4 inch by 6 inch card base.
Since I am making a shaped card I have positioned my die on my card base in such a way as to leave the top attached, so that when I run it through my die cutting machine I will still have my card base in tact. I am using a die set from Crafters Companion called Grande Mirror Frame from their Crreate A Card Collection.
Pop Tone Card Stock in Black Licorice. I put a layer of Scor-Tape on the back of the Black Licorice and positioned the word "Hello" and the dies to create an oval frame on and ran this through my die cutting machine.
