Eat, Drink or Be Scary

How is it possible that Summer is winding down, school (at least out here) has started, and it is already about Fall and Halloween? Too fast for my taste to be sure! Well with that said, I have been playing with the fantastic new release from Sparkle Blends and can't wait to show you some total cuteness!

Today I am playing with Vampire Bat Sparkle Blend and a fun stamp set from Clearly Besotted called Balloon Bunch Halloween. These go together so perfectly! I have used Distress Inks in Squeezed Lemonade,Carved Pumpkin,Ripe Persimmon, and Wilted Violet. I used my blending brushes from Taylored Expressions for my ink blending. I then used Memento Tuxedo Black for all my stamping aling with my Misti. I really am totally lost without my MISTI. Getting it was truly a game changer for me, more than any other tool in my craftroom. I also used a Memento Tuxedo Black marker, which allowed me to add some little details back in and helped keep my fussy cutting even easier. I did color in my critter and my balloon with Copics, using C1, C5, C9, B32, B34, B26, V01, V09, Y08, Y38, YR68 and YR09.

To create my card layers I used a die set from Pinkfresh from their Essentials collection called Stitched Rectangles, and used this with Doodlebug Designs Ghost Town 6x6 paper pad. I adhered my layers together using Scortape. Now I created my shaker component using acetate and Scortape along with my scoring board and bone folder. This allowed me to create my shaker pouch which worked perfectly to bring this whole project together. Have a look!

I really adore how this came out!

Head over to the Sparkle Blends Shop. and grab your favorites!!!!!! And as always, take a look on the Facebook page and in the Sparkle Blends Fan Club on Facebook to see all the fun things going on!
