Hi Everyone! Ya know that excitement when you find new products or new companies and you get excited? Especially when you have that moment when you think to yourself, of course that totally makes sense? Well that has happened for me, pretty recently, with Pinkfresh Studios and their flower sets. I mean, think about this, they have stamps that coordinate with layering stencils, and you stamp once (well when i say once, it is a large stamp so I use my Misti) and the die lines up perfectlt for you to cut once, and they even have the piece to do hot foiling! This has totally blown my mind. Which brings me to today's project!
I am using Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock 110 lb for my card base, for my white card layers and also my white cardstock for my stamping and blending layers. I have cut down several sheets to create multiple panels. I have then scored four of those panels at 4 1/4 inches to create my card bases. I then have taken two of these panels and used them in my Misti. I am stamping the flower image using Pinkfresh Studios Metropolis Ink.
As for which cardstock I used for each of these cards, the pink one uses Canvas Texture Pink Tutu and Raspberry Ice.cardstock. The purple one uses Canvas Texture Hydrangea Purple and Canvas Texture Plum. The orange one uses Yellow Jacket (Textured) and Adobo (Textured) cardstocks. And for the yellow and blue one, I also used Yellow Jacket (Textured) and Textured Pearlized Splash cardstock.I used a die set for all my layers, also from Pinkfresh, called Stitched Rectangles Essentials Dies with my Gemini, cut all my assorted card layers.
I stamped my sentiments using my Misti and Pinkfresh Studios Licorice Ink. it is a dark gray but not as severe as black, and for these I did want that slightly less severe look. I then assembled all my layers using ScorTape.
So what do you think? I have an affiliate link for CutCaardstock if you would please consider using it. It doesn't cost you anything to use and does help me continue to bring you fun and fabulous projects! Here is the link:
